That’s why we’ve launched the “Every Child Deserves a Classroom” campaign: to bring learning opportunities to the children who need them most.

Education is the key that unlocks a world of possibilities — yet, for millions of children in India, access to a proper classroom remains a distant dream. At Walstar Foundation, we believe that every child, regardless of their background, deserves a safe and supportive learning environment.

The Challenge We Face

In many rural and underserved communities, children attend schools with inadequate infrastructure. Some study under trees or in makeshift shelters. Lack of books, desks, and trained teachers often forces children to drop out early, limiting their chances for a better future.

This educational gap deepens inequality and perpetuates cycles of poverty.

How Walstar Foundation Is Making a Difference

Our “Every Child Deserves a Classroom” campaign is dedicated to bridging this gap by:

• Building and Renovating Schools: Providing safe, well-equipped classrooms where children can focus and thrive.

• Providing Learning Materials: Distributing textbooks, stationery, uniforms, and backpacks to children who cannot afford them.

• Digital Learning Access: Introducing mobile classrooms and technology-enabled learning in areas without proper school infrastructure.

• Supporting Teachers and Mentors: Offering training and resources to educators, and providing free coaching to students.

Each classroom we build, and every book we provide, brings a child closer to their dreams.

Stories of Hope

Take the story of Priya, a young girl from a small village near Sangli. Before Walstar’s intervention, she walked over 3 kilometers daily to attend school in a dilapidated building. Today, she studies in a renovated classroom with access to digital tools that have made learning exciting and effective.

“I feel like I belong in my classroom now,” she says with a bright smile.
